- her character Helena and Nathaniel Howe from Dragon Age game.
Tried to combine chars with background - well not that good as I'd like it to be, but I believe it's another step, right?)
Mostly done in photoshop, as I had some problems with painter those days.

I like their armor.
As a critique I would point out that his arrow is too short. It would be foreshortened like that if this bow were drawn. Otherwise, if it is simply nocked against his bowstring, is should extend well beyond his hand. An arrow for a large bow like that would be 30 or more inches.
For lighting I would suggest placing torches on the walls about head height on either side of them. Then you could make the background have more shadows, but the light from two sources would highlight/illuminate the characters better, making them stand out.
